Cramped but worth it. Small space, hustling staff, great food. I ordered a chicken sandwich and got a Friday Fish Fry instead, most likely to it being a Friday.
Service is wonderful! The food is great! Neat place, the only complaint was the music was a to loud for that early in the evening. We take my 87 year old dad for the smelt every year (it's great!) Had a hard time talking with him. Highly recommend Slo's! Fun place!
This is a “Must Stop” when in the area! There was a lot going on when we were here. Everyone was friendly and talkative, even though we had never met them. Bartender was cool. Atmosphere was off the hook Northwoods!
We did pick up. (Stayed at Big Arb Resort's "Grandma's House", adjacent to Slo's.) The jalapeño poppers were great - best I've ever had. Red peppers made for a good hot. The Friday fish fry IS only on Friday. (I was hoping for the pan-fried walleye as we didn't catch any, but no dice on Saturday eve.) Friday eve/late afternoon had a lot of bikers (Harley's) stopping by. Several groups ("gangs"?) at different times. 4 of our family had the main pub-burger and they thought they were good. My sister thought the coconut shrimp basket was great.
Slo's is always fun! The staff is awesome, food good with lots of options and don't get me started on Tuesday Bingo. So much fun! Loved this place!
Had a great time with some friends for a bachelor party. They accommodated our "large" party for dinner. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.
